hi andypandy
the main reason i put the holo gold head on the fly was because using buzzer or any nymph like pattern with a gold bead at the head seems to get more action than one without, i reckon that not only does the bead flash as the light bounces of it but will also mimic a air bubble at the head of the assending pupa, so this got me thinking !!! but international rules state no gold beads !!! so this was my answer to mimic the air bubble on my nymphs with out breaking any rules.
